Its Sunday August 17th on my side of the world, Australia
The latest AVG update is giving me a message saying missing BIN File.
No matter how many times I tried to update the definitions. Is anyone else having this error message appear?
I have AVG 8, there are 2 virus definitions with this update?

Angela,
This was caused by a corrupted file at AVG, this has now been corrected. I found this out by going to the AVG forum, http://freeforum.avg.com/index.php, well worth knowing to check this if problems occur in the future.

This was caused by a corrupted file at AVG, this has now been corrected. I found this out by going to the AVG forum, http://freeforum.avg.com/index.php, well worth knowing to check this if problems occur in the future.

That link for the forum for AVG is giving me a 404 is it down or is it not active now?

Strange, using the link direct from the message I also get an error, but when I type it in all is OK.
Try it again using this.
Please let me know result.
